Child Safety

Wisebled Tec Ltd considers the protection of children and adolescents an absolute priority. We implement technical, organizational, and human measures to prevent unauthorized minor access, detect and remove content that endangers children, and cooperate with competent authorities.

Our approach draws on international best practices (UNICEF, WeProtect Alliance, European DSA regulations, UK Online Safety Act) adapted to the African and Turkish context of our marketplace.

This policy applies to all Wisebled Market services: website, mobile applications, seller-buyer messaging, reviews, multimedia content, and advertising displayed on the platform.

Wisebled Market is reserved for persons aged eighteen (18) or over. When creating an account, the user declares on honor that they meet this requirement. Any false declaration constitutes a violation of the Terms of Use and may result in immediate account suspension.

Minors under 18 cannot create buyer or seller accounts, make purchases, sell products, use the Wisebled wallet, or access features requiring identity verification (KYC).

Parents or legal guardians wishing to make a purchase on behalf of a minor must use their own verified adult account and assume full responsibility for the transaction and product receipt.

We encourage parents and guardians to supervise minors' Internet and mobile device use, enable parental controls available on operating systems (iOS Screen Time, Google Family Link, Microsoft Family Safety), and discuss online commerce risks.

Wisebled Market does not currently offer "family" accounts or child profiles. Every account is linked to a responsible adult identified by email and, where applicable, verified phone number.

Educational resources on online safety are available in our Help Center. We collaborate with local child protection associations when awareness campaigns are organized in our markets.

It is strictly prohibited to publish, sell, purchase, or promote on the platform any content or product endangering minors, including: child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child pornography, solicitation of minors, child safety non-compliant dangerous products, counterfeit toys posing risks, harmful substances, weapons or ammunition accessible to minors.

Descriptions, images, and videos must not sexualize minors, present them in dangerous contexts, or encourage risky behavior. Reviews and messages are subject to the same rules.

Our automatic detection system (hash matching, AI moderation, community reporting) and human moderation team review flagged content 24/7. Any detected CSAM is immediately removed and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), INHOPE, or local competent authorities (police, gendarmerie, MİT/KVKK in Turkey, Cameroonian services).

• Violent, hateful content or content encouraging self-harm among minors

Any user, parent, guardian, or third party can report suspicious content, product, account, or behavior via the "Report" button on product pages, seller profiles, messages, and reviews, or by contacting support@wisebled.com and legal@wisebled.com with the subject "Child safety — urgent report".

Reports relating to child safety are handled with absolute priority. Our trust and safety team examines each report and takes appropriate action: content removal, account suspension, evidence preservation for authorities.

Good-faith reporting is protected: we will not take retaliatory measures against a user who honestly reports concerning content, even if the review does not confirm a violation.

Wisebled Tec Ltd fully cooperates with law enforcement, judicial authorities, child protection agencies, and national helplines (116 000 in Europe, local lines in Cameroon, ALİHM in Turkey) in investigations relating to child exploitation or endangerment.

Upon legal request or in cases of proven emergency, we may disclose to competent authorities account data, connection logs, content, and metadata necessary to identify perpetrators and protect victims, in compliance with the applicable legal framework.

We participate in international CSAM reporting networks (INHOPE, Tech Coalition) and apply PhotoDNA hash lists and equivalents to proactively block known content.

Wisebled Market does not knowingly target personalized advertising at persons identified or presumed to be minors. Advertising campaigns displayed via the platform or our partners comply with restrictions on products prohibited to minors (alcohol, tobacco, gambling, adult products).

Marketing cookies and trackers are only activated with explicit user consent, which can only legally be given by an adult. See our Cookie Policy for more details.

Sellers may not use images of minors for promotional purposes without verifiable parental authorization and compliance with local law (written authorization, minor model contract where applicable).
