1What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website or application. It allows recognition of your browser, remembers your preferences, and collects browsing information.
Similar technologies may be used: invisible pixels, advertising identifiers, local storage (localStorage), limited device fingerprinting, and mobile SDKs. In this policy, the term "cookie" refers to all such trackers.
Cookies may be set by Wisebled ("first-party" cookies) or by third-party partners, notably for analytics and advertising.
2Types of cookies used
We classify our cookies into three main categories, in accordance with data protection authority recommendations and the ePrivacy Directive.
- Essential (strictly necessary): session, authentication, cart, CSRF security, language and currency preferences, cookie consent. Legal basis: legitimate interest / contract performance. Duration: session to 12 months.
- Analytics and performance: audience measurement, page views, user journeys, load times, error detection (e.g. Google Analytics 4, with IP anonymization where possible). Legal basis: consent. Duration: 13 months maximum.
- Marketing and personalization: remarketing, targeted ads, social networks, affiliate tracking. Legal basis: consent. Duration: 13 months maximum. Not activated without your explicit agreement.
3Consent
On your first visit, a cookie banner informs you of the categories used and allows you to accept all, refuse non-essential cookies, or customize your choices by category. Your consent is recorded and can be changed at any time.
Essential cookies do not require consent as they are indispensable for platform operation (login, cart, checkout, security). Refusing analytics or marketing cookies does not affect your ability to browse the catalog, order, or sell.
If you are logged in, your cookie preferences are synced with your account. Non-logged-in visitors can manage choices via the banner or browser settings.
4Managing your preferences
You can change your choices at any time: via the "Manage cookies" link in the footer, from Settings > Privacy in your account, or by clicking the cookie icon on the banner if it is displayed again.
You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Methods vary by Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and mobile browsers. Note: blocking all cookies may degrade certain features (persistent cart, automatic login).
For mobile apps, tracking settings may be available in iOS Settings (Settings > Privacy > Tracking) or Android (Google Settings > Ads).
5Third-party cookies and partners
Some cookies are set by providers acting on our behalf or on their own. Main partners: Google (Analytics, Sign-In, reCAPTCHA, advertising — subject to consent), payment providers (secure session), CDN and hosting (performance), social networks (share buttons, if enabled).
We do not have full control over cookies set by third-party sites to which you may be redirected (e.g. external payment page). We encourage you to review their respective policies.
Google Analytics: we use GA4 with IP anonymization where available and limited retention. You can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
6Retention period
The lifespan of each cookie is indicated in our consent management panel. Generally: session cookies deleted when the browser closes; persistent cookies from 1 to 13 months depending on category.
Your consent choice is retained for twelve (12) months, after which the banner will be shown again to renew or modify your preferences.
Technical logs associated with analytics cookies are retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy (6 to 24 months).
